It is very normal if a restaurant has Indian, Chinese and Thai menu.

Thai soup is very popular and mostly high recommended.

We ordered Pad Thai, Thai Soup Naan and Curry Mutton.

Thai Soup: so many filling, rich and good.

Pad Thai: not rich and sweet enough.

Naan: Crispy, rich and tasty …it is good when eating w/ Curry..yummy yummy…

We entered 3restaurant and finally found this "Hangout" w/ English menu available. It was very lucky coz another desk ordered "American Chopsuey" and it looked delicious.. then we ordered "Same" .

 

It was fried noodles and covered w/ Sour Sweet Tomato sauce…crispy…rich and sweet..yummy yummy…..

Naan: we ordered plain naan….tasty….

Actually another desk ordered fried noodles..n looked tasty too…we ordered next day but the color was totally different we saw..it might be different chef? Hahaha…

PS: Psst...Most of restaurant needs around 20mins to deliver our foods… …even fast food needs to wait at least 10-15min too..

The pedestrian is so small..n so many people were visiting due to 3days holiday…moreover the weather was quite hot….the place is so lovely…quite same w/ Jiu Fen but different….Most of them are selling foods which are from “Osmanthus flowers”..So many Hakka people are staying here.that’s why you can find Hakka’s food there..

 

I always buy “sausage” when visiting OLD Streets in Taiwan…

The mochi wasn’t nice…lucky…we can buy 2pcs-NTD10.

I queuing almost 30min for “Osmanthus Ice”...coz everybody was eating while walking…original-NTD50….the white one was mochi (tasteless but chewy) and covered w/ Osmanthus syrup…..you can buy separately the syrup..

So pity…my grandmom didn’t cook Lontong this time…coz they had another party again for “Cap Gomek”….I really miss that food…the best that I ever ate..

We joined 2parties each year but not from this year..coz Gao family didn’t celeberate again due to “Bapak” passed away last year..Bapak was my Mom’s big brother…

Dinner w/ Wawa, Cen2 and An2. Wawa recommended this place..she was right…delicious…their chili sauce was so many kinds..just combined it and perfect…First…We chose chicken’s part and then they fried it..

Ate w/ Nasi Uduk….they will put one portion of small portion of Nasi Uduk at our desk. It was covered w/ leaves & when you opened and ate it.... smells good…but it was pity coz already cold…it must be better when still hot…
